Application Plug Ins

	The Single Mailbox Recovery is used to backup and restore single mailboxes from and to an Exchange server. The SMR plug-in makes use of a robust Exchange tool called ExMerge to actually perform the backup and restore operations. However the plug-in presents a user interface façade to the ExMerge settings file (usually exmerge.ini) so that the user is able to configure ExMerge from the NetBax Server Editionclient. Once configured, ExMerge can be run in ‘batch’ mode that does not require user interaction.

	The MS Exchange 5.5, 2000/2003 plug-in, combined with the Backup Client Server Edition, provides an automated backup solution for any Exchange 2000 or Exchange 2003 storage group that you would like to backup. It enables a fast and flexible way to protect vital Exchange 2000/2003 critical data while the Exchange Server is in use.

	The GroupWise 6 plug-in, combined NetBax, provides an automated backup solution to backup GroupWise 6. The plug-in provides protection down to the individual file or mailbox.

	Using the native Domino backup API, this option integrates non-disruptive data protection of the database and transaction logs (R5). Flexible restore options include database redirection and point-in-time roll back recovery of databases or transaction logs (R5 only).

	Critical data protection of any Sybase ASE12.5 database Total security whilst the application is online, is possible with the Sybase ASE12.5 Plug-in. Restore options include recovering from a specific backup date and redirecting to another Sybase database.

	Ensure that your business-critical OLTP, OLAP and critical business data is protected in case of corruption or loss. The plug-in provides SQL Server 7 and SQL Server 2000 user's granular protection down to the individual table or file group. Execute binary patching backups as well as Transaction Log backups with automatic truncation. Restore options include redirection to another SQL Server and the ability to perform "rollback restores," enabling a database to be recovered to a specific backup job.

	Any Oracle 9i database, tablespace or datafile protection can be integrated with your daily backup routine. New files are automatically included for backup without having to open the interface and selecting the files. Restore options include full media, tablespace or datafile recovery.
