Huge increases in the volume of data being generated coupled with escalating costs of storage is forcing many businesses to move away from traditional methods of backup such as tape or CD. This shift in the market has created numerous opportunities for suppliers of Online Backup and Restore

Partner Programmes

Tier 1 Partner:

You purchase an allocation of data storage space with product licences for an agreed cost per month. This enables you to deliver your own data storage solution with control of all aspects of the service – pricing, customer sales and billing. For example you may choose a 100Gb space with 30 client licences, this would allow you to install 30 instances (servers) of the NetBax software with up to 100Gb of space available across your customers. Extra disk space and licences can be purchased in blocks thereafter.

Reseller partners typically provide a range of services direct to clients, which might include consulting, integration, support services, product sales or solution sales. Reseller partners often act as a single point of contact to clients that wish to add online backup as an additional value-added service.

The Reseller partner often installs and maintains the online backup service for their clients, as well as providing first line support. The Reseller partner is responsible for invoicing the client directly and maintains the long term relationship with them. NetBax offers the Tier1 reseller with a monitor tool which allows them to keep abreast of their client activity on the NetBax storage platform. This is particularly useful for the Reseller to check when the client needs to increase their storage needs.

Tier 2 Partner:

You may choose to pass all the NetBax packages to your client with little involvement yourselves. This would involve you introducing the solution to your clients and arranging contracts to be signed between NetBax and your client. You will therefore have no billing or installation issues. You will receive a commission each month for every client you sign up. This revenue is ongoing until the client chooses to cancel the service.
